1. About TANGKAWORLD

TANGKAWORLD is an independent website focused on thangka paintings, Buddhist art, iconography, symbolism, and related visual traditions. The website offers educational articles and may sell access to downloadable digital image collections.

2. Digital products

A “Digital Product” means the collection, file set, or other downloadable resource identified on the relevant TANGKAWORLD product page and Creem checkout. Creem resells the Digital Product to you as merchant of record, while TANGKAWORLD remains responsible for its description, delivery, quality, access, and customer support. Unless the product page expressly states otherwise, delivery is through a private PikPak link sent to the email address used at checkout after Creem confirms successful payment. No physical item will be shipped.

The product page and checkout should be reviewed before payment. They may describe the collection, format, approximate file count or size, price, currency, access period, technical requirements, and any specific usage terms. Preview images and file counts are illustrative when labelled as approximate, because the organisation of a digital collection may be corrected or updated over time.

3. Ordering and payment

To place an order, you must review the TANGKAWORLD product description, these Terms, the Creem Buyer Terms, and the total amount shown by Creem, then provide accurate checkout and billing information and submit payment through the Creem Checkout Solution.

Creem is the legal seller and merchant of record for the transaction. Creem collects and processes payment, calculates and remits applicable VAT, GST, sales tax, or other indirect taxes, and issues the payment confirmation and invoice. TANGKAWORLD does not separately collect payment or issue a separate invoice for a transaction processed by Creem.

The total amount, currency, and applicable indirect taxes are displayed by Creem before the order is completed. Your bank, card issuer, or payment method provider may apply currency-conversion or transaction charges outside the control of both TANGKAWORLD and Creem. A charge may appear on your statement using the Creem or CREEM.IO descriptor.

An order is completed only after Creem confirms successful payment. Creem may decline, review, cancel, or refund a transaction under its Buyer Terms, fraud controls, compliance duties, or applicable law. TANGKAWORLD may also decline delivery where the product information contains an obvious error, the transaction appears abusive, or fulfilment would be unlawful; any resulting payment remedy will be handled through Creem.

4. Delivery by email through PikPak

After Creem confirms successful payment, TANGKAWORLD sends the private PikPak link and download guide to the email address used at checkout. Access is not granted solely because a visitor reaches or refreshes a success URL; TANGKAWORLD may verify the completed Creem checkout before sending or restoring the link. Delivery is considered to have started when the verified access email is sent or the link is otherwise made available to you. Save the email and link, and retain the Creem payment confirmation, invoice, and order reference.

If payment succeeds but the delivery email or link does not arrive, first check the spam and promotions folders, then contact [email protected] and provide the order number, purchase email, payment date, and a description of the problem. Do not send a complete card number, security code, account password, or other sensitive payment credentials. After the order is verified, we will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide a replacement delivery method.

You may need a compatible PikPak account, application, device, browser, and internet connection to access the files. Any optional PikPak membership is a separate purchase from PikPak and is not included in your TANGKAWORLD order unless the product page expressly says otherwise. PikPak controls its own account rules, storage limits, download speeds, membership features, prices, billing, and availability.

5. Licence and permitted use

Unless the product page provides a different written licence, a completed purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and download the purchased Digital Product for your own research, study, reference, and private use.

You may not resell the Digital Product, sell access to the PikPak link, publish or distribute the complete collection, operate a mirror or competing download archive, share the paid link publicly, sublicense access, remove access controls, or falsely present the collection as a product created or officially endorsed by you. A separate written licence is required for any use outside the permission stated on the product page.

Your purchase does not transfer ownership of TANGKAWORLD’s website, branding, editorial material, database organisation, or service. You remain responsible for determining whether your intended use of any individual image or file is appropriate and permitted under any requirements that apply to you.

6. Immediate access and cancellation rights

The Digital Product is intended for immediate delivery after payment. Where applicable law requires it, you will be asked at checkout to request immediate performance and separately acknowledge that your statutory withdrawal or cancellation right may end once digital delivery or access begins. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

7. Refund policy for digital products

Because access is delivered immediately and digital files cannot be physically returned, purchases are generally final after the download link has been sent to the purchase email or otherwise made available, except where a refund or remedy is required by applicable law.

We will review refund or remedy requests involving a duplicate charge, successful payment without delivery of the link, delivery of a materially different product from the checkout description, or files that are materially corrupted or unusable and cannot be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time. Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may be restored access, replacement files, correction of the product, or a refund.

A refund is generally not provided merely because you changed your mind after access began, did not review disclosed technical requirements, expected a different PikPak speed or membership feature, lost a link that can be restored, or experienced a problem caused solely by your device, network, PikPak account restriction, or third-party service outside our control. This limitation does not override mandatory consumer protections.

To request help or a refund review, contact [email protected] promptly with the Creem order or transaction reference, purchase email, payment date, and a clear explanation of the issue. TANGKAWORLD evaluates product-delivery and support issues, while approved refunds are processed through Creem. Creem may also issue a refund or manage a dispute or chargeback under its Buyer Terms, platform rules, or legal obligations. Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate, but this request does not limit a legal right or Creem support option.

8. Product updates and availability

We may correct file names, organisation, descriptions, or technical errors and may replace damaged files. Unless a product page promises a particular update schedule or permanent access period, a purchase does not include guaranteed future additions or lifetime hosting. We will make reasonable efforts to keep paid delivery links operational for the access period described at checkout and to assist verified customers when a link fails.

9. Third-party payment and hosting services

Creem acts as merchant of record and contractual reseller for the purchase. Creem operates the checkout, collects payment, applies applicable indirect taxes, issues invoices, and handles payment administration, refunds, fraud review, and chargebacks under its own terms. Creem may collect your name, email address, billing address, payment details, and other information needed for the transaction. Review the Creem Buyer Terms and Creem Privacy Policy before purchasing.

TANGKAWORLD is responsible for the product description, the purchased PikPak-link delivery, and product support. TANGKAWORLD does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card credentials. We may receive customer contact information, product and transaction identifiers, payment status, tax or location indicators, refund status, and other limited order information needed to fulfil, support, secure, and account for the purchase.

PikPak hosts the downloadable files and operates under its own terms and privacy practices. If a Creem or PikPak failure prevents delivery, contact TANGKAWORLD so we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access, provide an alternative, or coordinate a remedy through Creem.

10. Acceptable use and account security

• Do not use stolen payment information, submit fraudulent disputes, or attempt to bypass checkout or access controls.
• Do not publish, sell, or distribute the paid PikPak link or enable unauthorised access by others.
• Do not introduce malware, automated abuse, deceptive redirects, or harmful code.
• Do not disrupt, overload, damage, scrape unreasonably, or gain unauthorised access to the website, checkout, or delivery systems.
• Do not impersonate TANGKAWORLD or falsely claim an endorsement, partnership, or official institutional relationship.
• Keep your purchase email, order reference, payment account, and PikPak account secure.

11. Educational content

Articles and collection descriptions are provided for general informational and educational purposes. They are not professional, legal, financial, religious, conservation, authentication, valuation, or investment advice. Identifications, translations, dates, attributions, and descriptions may be incomplete or uncertain. Consult an appropriate specialist before relying on the website for an important decision.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website, checkout, links, and Digital Products are provided “as is” and “as available.” Except for promises expressly stated on the product page or required by law, TANGKAWORLD makes no warranty regarding uninterrupted availability, download speed, compatibility with every device or application, or suitability for a particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TANGKAWORLD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, revenue, opportunity, or goodwill arising from the website, a Digital Product, or a third-party service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits a mandatory consumer remedy.

14. Privacy

Our handling of order and customer information is described in the Privacy Policy. Information submitted through Creem Checkout is also governed by the Creem Privacy Policy, and information submitted to PikPak is governed by PikPak’s privacy practices.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the website, products, checkout, delivery process, or applicable requirements change. The version that applied when you placed an order will continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or you expressly agree otherwise. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
